Chris & Kim San Diego Engagement Portraits

Chris was the best man at our wedding nearly 10 years ago. He and Jason had worked together at their first dot com jobs, during the big internet boom, so when we got engaged, Jason knew he wanted Chris at his side as we said “I do!” Now, it’s our pleasure to be a part of Chris’s wedding plans, as he prepares to marry his sweetheart, Kim.

Chris and Kim are a really active couple; they hike and camp and generally love the outdoors. Of course, living in San Diego, they get to enjoy nature all year round, so they knew of the perfect place for their engagement portraits. They led the way from Oceanside to a fantastic hiking area in the Torrey Pines area of La Jolla. We had never been there before, and found the views breathtaking, even on an overcast day.

We always enjoy spending time with Chris and Kim, and this engagement portrait session was no different. As a photographer, most every shoot is wonderful, but there is something extra special about getting to take photos of the people you have chosen as friends. We’re so excited for you two as you count down to your big day!
