What Happens in Vegas

We all know someone who has run off to Vegas to get hitched. In fact, Las Vegas is the only place in America that issues marriage licenses all 365 days of the year! But Donna didn’t go to Vegas to get married; She went to celebrate her 21^st birthday. Little did she know, fate had something bigger in store for her when she took a roadtrip with her girlfriends.

One night at a club, she ran into Oscar. As it turns out, they had plenty in common, and he was a San Diego native too. He asked for her number, saying he wanted to visit her when he made trips to San Diego. She didn’t think she’d ever see him again. Even as she and her friends drove home, Donna remarked that while Vegas was nice, she would never want to live there.

But Oscar is a man of his word and sure enough, he made many trips to see the woman who had come to Vegas and stolen his heart. Nine months later, Donna moved to Vegas to be nearer to Oscar while attending college at UNLV. Now, almost nine years after their chance meeting, this sweet couple is preparing to say “I do.”
